Nifty, makes easements easy. Similar to the 'bent stick' method (aka, a yardstick [:D]). Definitely need the longer one, unless you are using all sharp radius curves, it will be difficult to use the 18" long one to connect a tangent to a 30"+ radius curve.

Many art supply stores that carry drafting supplies should carry this.I've had one for over 30 years,but of course I never thought of using it....now to just find it!
