Double Slip Turnout

The best route to go with double slips are Peco Insulfrog. They are the most reliable and easy to wire up.

Double Slip allows switching from one track to the other in both directions. Single slip allows track change in one direction only. A single slip turnout will have two sets of points. Double slip will have four sets of points.

Thanks for all the help, I ordered a double, single, and a three way, will lay them in my copying mechine to start ( no I don't think it will make copys of the turnouts,( don't I wish )) but it will make templates to use in future track planning, and then I can plan how many more to order, So again THANKS! very much for all the kind help.

Yes it was an atlas one that I had I'm sure, and it was back in my all brass days,before I went to nickel silver, and now that I think back it was nothing but trouble and I did not use it very long, before I tore it out, now I'm trying to build a storage yard that can store trains in elephant fashion and be able to get the ones in the middle back on the main line without moving the ones on each end

atlas did make a double slip in brass...its angle (12.5 degrees) however matched up with its #4
turnout I had a few of these

As far as I know, Atlas has never made one in HO or N. Model Power had one at one time. I would stick to the Shinohara (Walthers) or Peco anyway.

Thanks, I found them, they are as you notice 83's I'm looking for 100.'s I'm redoing my track and going to 83's in all open track, but in some hidden storage track I want to stay with 100., and don't wont to have some speical trains blocked in, and with some swiching I can do that.

I bought one years ago I thought was made by Atlas, but I can't find one on thier web site now, and I need two, looked at the Atlas, Peco, and Walthers web sites they seem to carriy ever thing but slip swithches . Can't find my walthers cat. Can some one point me in the right direction? If they make them in a #6 or #8 sure would help.
