Does it move grain from a pile on the ground into a hopper or into a silo? From underneath an emptied hopper into a silo or a truck? How is it positioned when in use?

the auger looks real good, there is nothing for a drive system, or motors, but you have to draw the detail line some wheres
Looks great! But I agree with wvgca, that short shaft on the top is the shaft that drives the auger. That shaft can be powered by a tractor's hydraulic system, or a drive shaft that connects to the tractor's PTO, or a 3 phase electric motor.
Hard to tell from the prototype picture you have what drives it.
And to answer another question asked above, this would be used to convey grain from a truck or wagon to a grain bin, or maybe a semi trailer, or it could be placed under a hopper rail car, for transloading into a truck or wagon.
