Thank you.

Chooch is no longer a separate entity. They have closed, but Walthers is now carrying their products. I thank Walthers for that.
Your product description is short, but it says the product comes painted with a "base wash," and can be further painted with acrylics if desired. Although it can be used without painting.

Hello All,
The Chooch material is probably not strong enough to use as a stand-alone wall.
For the actual structure I would suggest using Masonite or Luan plywood and apply the chooch material as a facade.
If you are using foam as the structure make sure you use a foam-safe adhesive.
As far as painting goes, Chooch recommended if you want to lighten the factory-applied finish use Isopropyl Alcohol.
Walthers (who now owns the Chooch line) says water base acrylic paints work best as washes or painting.
For the concrete cribbing, I would lighten the concrete and darken the spaces in between- -with browns and greens- -to replicate dirt and moss between the ties.
And, don't forget...
Chooch walls
Hope this helps.
"Uhh...I didn’t know it was 'impossible' I just made it work...sorry"
Has anyone used this product for a retaining wall? I haven't physically seen it and from pictures I can't tell if it needs to be painted.
Any info would be appreciated.
