I have this Tichy small water tank kit, and I was wondering what color paints would make sense for this? Im thinking something like Vallejo aluminum or some variation of steel color?

Open to suggestions for a painting/weathering strategy for this.
Thanks!
?isn't that a wooden tank and framing ?
It's a steel water tank so it would have been painted to resist rust and corrosion - depending on the application either in a reflective paint - aluminum, white or other light color, or alternately a darker color - black, dark grey or perhaps oxide red.
A lot of the municipal steel water tanks in my area of southern Ontario were painted silver, but many industry-owned tanks got either company colours or company names or advertising slogans, too.

I model the late Transition Era. I usually paint metal tanks first with silver rattle can paint, then with a coat of a flat paint like Dul Cote to take out the shine. I usually use Krylon flat clear rattle can for this. If I want some rust, I use weathering powders near the bottom.
