Resolved - Right approach to juicing frogs on Bachmann EZ Track crossover
Posted by Ruckuss on Thursday, November 24, 2022 9:41 AM

Resolved  i soldered one of the outputs from the Dual Frog juicer to EACH of the two frogs in the holes that exposed the Frogs under the crossover and its working perfectly. No shorts and no stalls occurred thru about 20 passes

i have a Bachmann Ez Track crossover with metal frogs and what appear to be wires to power them  im running short 0-6-0 and 2-6-2 steam engines and they satall when tender hits the frog

i purchased a dual frog juicer which obviously has two outputs   To wire this up is it simply to provide power feom the buss as the inout and then attach each output to a frog  ive sone this the lights in the frog appear to indicate its working but I still get stalls frequently and with a meter I can't see that they are powered (track to frog contact)  is there something I'm missing?

dont mean to be an ass, but I dont care to hear about your other brands or issues  i simply want to know how to correctly power the frog

thanks

Mike
