Hi NScale4x8,

Your layout is coming along quite nicely! The structures look great.

Cheers!!

Thanks :) I use the hobby as a creative outlet to de-stress. The three lift bridges, viaduct, retaining wals, and many of the structures are 3D models I created based on the Cleveland Flats Industrial District prototypes and some leeeway using Cincinnati prototypes as well. Not shown is a Brewery from Mephis, TN, but I posted about that in the past.

That is some lice looking scenery! I especially like this spot:

Thank you. It's the newest section. I plan to improve the paint and add lots of trees. I'm waiting to scenic neighboring sections before placing trees so that I don't damage them by reaching over to work on other sections.

I model the Cleveland Flats industrial district. There is a famous bar, "Pat's in the Flats", nestled among lift bridges, industries, storage tanks, etc.

I wanted a signature recognizable structure besides the lift bridges I modeled from the prototypes. My first thought was a scrap metal yard, but those are not very recognizable. My second though was a famous brass foundry, but it required too much space. In the end, I made Pat's mirror image to fit my space.

That is beautiful work.     Are you by chance going to put the stl file on thingiverse or something similar for that lift bridge?  It looks really well done

The original SketchUp Model, STLs, and gcode are in GitHub linked in the post. My GitHub site has other free STLs as well.
