For what it is worth, the Walthers Railcar Restoration shop is the same building as the Walthers Machine Shop. The difference it that the restoration shop includes the industrial tank accessories instead of the smokestack.
I never thought the giant smokestack looked appropriate for a machine shop.

The Walthers Cornerstone Machine Shop does have doors on both ends.
I found this picture on the internet showing the "rear" side of the building.
From the instruction sheets on the website it sure looks like there are doors on both ends.

Specifically, I'm wondering if the various loco servicing buildings like the machine shop and "shop no. 1" have openings for rail on both ends?
The instructions/pictures I've found don't shed light on this but it will impact the way I locate them on the layout.
The machine shop description mentions "roll up doors" (plural) so I'm assuming rail can run all the way thru and out the back side...
