Thank you for doing such a great job with the pictures you share.

I hope you continue. I enjoy seeing what you are working on.

Well, here's the thread where I will try to post photos, videos, and questions. The only exception is if it's a tutorial, or I have a major question, in which case I will make a separate thread.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First off, here's an update on the Plattsburgh yard's foundation.

https://northcountrytrains.wordpress.com/2022/01/19/plattsburgh-yard-doing-it-right-this-time/

Over the past week or so I’ve torn up the temporary Plattsburgh yard and I’m now waiting for the new cork sheet to be fully glued to the layout so I can begin laying the “proper” tracks.

It took quite some time to get all this glue on the foam…

All this leftover paint is good for something, I guess.

If anyone wants an overview/track plan/more info on the overall layout design, let me know...

Here's an approximate track plan of what is to come. Currently the yard (not fully shown on the plan) to the staging yard (wye) is built.

More Plattsburgh yard progress coming soon! As usual, if anyone has any suggestions or questions, let me know.

My thought was pull the yard down to the cross over before the why.   Use the one leg to double as a switching lead.  The area then between the why, past the cross over to the ladder track could then be a small service facility or rip track.   This would leave room at the other end of the yard for roaral scenery or another industry or something.

Harrison
Well, here's the thread where I will try to post photos, videos, and questions.

Thank you Harrison. I will follow this thread.

I love build threads where people share pictures and progress, and what you are doing with the D&H has always been interesting.

I ran a live YouTube stream last night, with the majority of the stream focused on solo operations. Skip around using the slider at the bottom, as I'm sure no one wants to watch an hour and a half video.
