Almost perfect bridge
Posted by Dunrovin Ranch RR on Monday, January 10, 2022 12:34 PM

Anybody know where I can get a copy of "Almost Perfect Bridge" article from November 1984 Model Railroader magazine? I remember some of the details, but after almost 40 years, the details are getting fuzzy. HELP?

Welcome

As a newbie your first few posts are moderated and slow to show up.

I have a copy of the MR November 1984.  I haven’t tried copping a MR magazine but I’ll give it a shot.

My email is in my profile, send me your email address and I’ll send you either PDFs or JPGs of the article.

It's an article by Steve Solomon, and it's a bridge structure, that hinges, by swinging up, to allow access to the layout.

It's a plate girder bridge, with masonry supports.

You can access it through the archives, which you need to subscribe to, or find that magazine.

I have archive access, but rules permit me from posting the article.  Sorry.

Subscribe to the archives.

It is a great way to spend a day or two. I love looking back through the old issues.
