I suspect this is the topic where the track plan showed up:

I suggest you PM the guy who was interested and ask your questions direct. His last post on the forum was back in 2017.
You also might get more info by clicking on his icon. That will take you to a page with all the topics he's commented on, and you can read up on all of those and maybe get some info.
Looking at the layout with the red/green/grey, I think the red is the flat upper level, the grey is the flat lower level, and the green is the slope between. It shows up more in the more complex drawing just below the basic one.

PS: Don't give up so easy! It's OK to come back and "bump" your topic.
Hi Anthony. I'm sorry no one answered your post. I can't answer your question, but maybe if you posted the plan your are referring to, or provide a link, someone can answer your questions.
And to the forum!

Hi All, I am currently looking to model an N scale Layout, on a hollow core door. I'm going to use a 32" X 80" Door. I have seen one That got my attention. Its called a double folded Dog Bone Track plan. I ran across this plan while doing a search for " N Scale Double Folded Dog Bone CS " I then clicked on Images and was taken to a a post from back in 2014. It doesn't give much information on this original plan, but talks mostly about adding a lot of sidings and industries and making changes to the plan. I would like to find out some more basic information like what track was used, maybe a track list ( I probably will go with Kato ) and also the image shows the track in 3 different colors, grey, red and green, What do the different colors represent? Thanks for all the help !
