Glad to see that Malcolm's masterpiece still survives.  The article was very enjoyable and brought back many good memories of the late 80s when my son and I were inspired by the pages of MRR mag. along with Malcolm's artistry and techniques.

Thanks and regards, Peter

Forgot to mention how much I enjoyed reading about Malcolm Furlow in Sam Posey's wonderful book: Playing With Trains-A Passion Beyond Scale

Regard, Peter

I believe that the SAN JUAN CENTRAL was in the National Model Train Museum in San Diego.

Is the Model Train Museum no more? What about the other displays that were there? Are they in Sacramento now as well?

I found this 90 minute video on Furlow's Rio Chama Western. It reminds me very much of John Allen's Gorre and Daphetid.
