HarrisonAlso, should I keep posting the videos here or just let the people who want to subscribe and follow me elsewhere? I don't want to come across as annoying if I keep posting and no one wants to see it that isn't already following me elsewhere.
First, I think you did a good job with the video. Keep up the good work!
Second, don't worry about being annoying if you're posting something. If someone doesn't want to watch it, they can click away. Some of us are interested in just about everything in model railroading. It's nice to see it here and not have to click away to go to youtube.
Third, check back into the diner sometime to tell us how you're doing.

Thank you all for watching and the many kind words, comments, and suggestions. I am already planning the next segment, and I hope to make an update video consisting of similar elements every couple weeks or so. Are all the segments (Hurley, projects, review) good, or should I add/remove any?
Also, should I keep posting the videos here or just let the people who want to subscribe and follow me elsewhere? I don't want to come across as annoying if I keep posting and no one wants to see it that isn't already following me elsewhere.

Harrison, great job on the video. We all tend to be overly critical when judging ourselves. Like others have said, your descriptions were clear and concise. Your voice was easy to hear and understand and not overpowered by loud background music or sounds. Many YouTubers would be wise to follow your example. I look forward to your future productions.
Hi Harrison. I have just saw your video.
I work as a public speaker so I really don't see what's the problem with your voice. Maybe just slow down a little bit. When we are nervous, we tend to speak faster
Another suggestion, when you say "as you can see", spend more time on the point you want to show us. I am new into model railroading and I didn't have time to see the point you were showing us.
Overall, you made a very good job.

Harrison,
Another great update on your layout. I think your voice and delivery were fine. Most of us find the sound of our own voice to be a bit disconcerting.
I have really enjoyed your posts here on MR and also on Trains.
As retired teacher I wanted to make some suggestions about your homeschool progress. Between your modeling and your real world railfanning you could easily get credit for English Language Arts, Public Speaking, Art, History, Geography, Technology and whatever title would cover electronic media. Keep up the good work.
Cheers and stay safe.

I like your video and your layout, Harrison. I remember your work on the highway underpass a little while back. Looks great!
I thought your narration was just fine.
Good Luck, Ed
Thanks for all your kind words Mike, Mark, and Bear! Yes, I did write out what I was gonna say ahead. Also thanks for subscribing Mark, it's appreciated.
"One difference between pessimists and optimists is that while pessimists are more often right, optimists have far more fun."
I second Mike's comment. You clearly planned out what you were going to say, and executed it very well. Either that, or you're one of the best extemporaneous speakers I've heard in my entire life! Great narration.
From your voice and your hands, you seem to be a very young man. (Don't worry, you'll get over it with time! )
You've video is very well made, and was enjoyable to watch. Keep them coming! I've already subscribed so I don't miss any in the future.
The only suggestion I might offer is - don't stop making videos.

All right! I like the concise narrative! No filing in with ohs, uhms, etc.

Try it now, sorry about that.
Sorry Harrison, I can't see your video, it says: "An error occured"
Hey all,
I just published my first layout video update. So far I have been told that I should relax a little to ease my tone of voice (I don't normally sound this bad) and to make things flow a little better. I'm looking for suggetions/advice/comments so I can improve things without making myself look like a fool even more\ .
Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys!
