On the HO Black River Junction layout, there is a one stall engine house. Can you tell me what kit it is. I think I would like to add it to my layout, but I can't find it anywhere. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks Terry
What I believe you may be thinking is an engine house is actually an industry, Walthers' Dayton Machine Shop. It's listed as structure "G" on the structure diagram / list in part 4. You can see it in the background of the picture whose caption starts "For this house scene...."

p.s. No reason you still couldn't use it as an enginehouse or engine backshop etc. on your layout.
Dayton Machine is a pretty good looking structure.
From the Walthers web site:
Mine is HO scale. This is how it looks straight from the box:

Living the dream.
Not as lovely as the Walthers model, but here in the UK we have a much smaller Dapol kit. (Takes up less room.)

To the world you are someone. To someone you are the world
I cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought
I have a single stall engine house from either Kibri or Faller, but built it with both long walls on the normally visible side of the structure. I also didn't use the tile roof, opting instead for Campbell's corrugated sheets on a roof made from .060" styrene. I built a lean-to on the normally unseen side, which acts as parts storage, plus lunch and locker rooms...
This view along the tracks shows part of the lean-to at left...

NorthBrithere in the UK we have a much smaller Dapol kit.
You also have Ratio Models that makes some great little buildings!
Good stuff.
