Micro layout Japan out line
Posted by John Busby on Sunday, May 3, 2020 10:55 PM

Hi all

I have been building off and on as a side project a micro narrow gauge layout of Japanese outline based on the Japanese pioneer lines.

It just about looks Japanese.

I have hit a brick wall as to what next I have become hung up on what Japanese car to use and how to finish it off Japanese HO 1/80 is not easy to find but can be had ocasionaly.

Any one got any thoughts I do have some figures but not may but given its only about 40cm X 50 cm thats no big deal

regards John

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!

You remind me of a forum member called Chuck (tomikawaTT) who made many useful and interesting contributions to this forum. He modelled a 1/80 Japanese pike. He has not contributed here in a long time... You might want to send him a PM - hopefully he is still active. My guess is that there are few members here that would be knowledgeable about that scale and prototype. But the interest is there and I look forward to your contributions.

Simon
