Not having done it I can't attest to the method but what they show in the magazines is to put the rail joiner on the bigger rail and squeeze the unused end flat with pliars. Then solder the smaller rail to the top.

How do you do it? Just file down the 80? What connectors are advised. The 80's are too loose and the 55s are too tight? Thanks.
