The best way to solve the problem of wood shrinking or expanding with change in humidity is to seal both sides by painting them or using something like Thompson's Water Seal. And now that it is dry is the best time to do that.

I have some problems with buckling track and plywood. Any advise other that getting a humidifier? And what about summer humidity.
