I'm thinking of using a track plan from (I think) the 2009 Model Railroad Planning for a new layout. The plan was for a bedroom-sized Frisco branch line that interchanged with Missouri Pacific. I misplaced the magazine it was in, so I was.going to just download it from the MR track plan database. Unfortunately, the search engine hasn't located it for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
The 2008 MRP has a 9x11 HO scale bedroom plan, Frisco's Clinton Subdivision. It interchanges with the MKT. I have the hard copy. Not sure if its downloadable.
I think its a pretty neat plan for the small space.

Yeah, that's it. Thanks for looking it up for me. I agree it's a good plan. I thought they have all the track plans available for download online, but apparently not. Thanks again.
As is, the plan shows a pretty short height between under-layout staging and the layout. There's only one staging track with a runaround so it might not be a huge problem, but still..
And you were right, there is a small interchange track with the MOPAC at the other end, but the MKT looks like it was the major interchange.
