Living the dream.
Tom,
I like your background building mock up. It looks very interesting, especially since it has some depth. Too many backgound buildings lack something that suggests that they are not simply flat panels IMHO.
At our club we have decided to move one of the double track mainlines in order to get some more depth along the north wall. By moving the track just 2 inches further from the wall we will be able to add loading docks and vary the distances that the backdrop buildings will project from the wall, and we will be able to add a completely new spur to service them. The mainline radii will go from 36" to 34". Big deal.
Congratulations on running some trains too!
Dave
I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
