Yes, that's correct Douglas. I was hoping for a plan I could print out, and then cut and maneuver the peninsulas around to fit into my space. The original plan includes the bascule bridge over the Miami River. Thanks to everyone who replied!
I believe the plan posted here is the current version, which is also the only version posted on lancemindheim.com.
OP is looking for a downloadable version of the 2009 plan from MRP. I have that issue, but no means to make it downloadable.
The as-built plan is significantly different than what he envisioned at the time of the MRP article.

kbneis Yeah, the original plan wasn’t built as designed. I believe it is his personal layout, built after the Monon was dismantled.

Yeah, the original plan wasn’t built as designed. I believe it is his personal layout, built after the Monon was dismantled. It’s very well done. Thanks for the video!
Not unusual, but I am confused. Is the original plan different than the one that is available in the data base (which is downloadable)?
Mr Mindheim is a layout designer, author and has his own webpage. You could contact him directly. I gather this is his personal layout.

Does anyone know where to find a digital copy of this original plan from page 24 of Model Railroad Planning 2009? The actual built plan ("CSX Miami Downtown Spur") from the December, 2013 issue of MR is available in the track plan database. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks very much!
