The kit is an arched bridge that spans a double track mainline and is 9 1/2" long.

Their concrete girder bridge that spans a single track is 6" long.   You want to knock another inch of that.

Easy or not, it will end up looking more like the later than an arched wooden bridge.

Has anyone built this kit in N scale?  I like the bridge but it is way too long. Can it be easily kitbashed to make it fit a 5 inch span?
