After looking through some materials I have on the KATY RR, I started a 1st operations simulation - using XtrkCAD.
Setup: La Grange is part of the Houston Subdivision and recieves freight from all areas south towards Houston. Two are oil - from Houston and cream - from Breham where Blue Bell ice cream is made. La Grange Creamery is another facility producing the ice cream.
KATY F3As A-B units, 104 and 103 are in use here. Reefers from the creamery will be dropped at the Smithville transload facility and moved by refrigerated truck to the retail store. The tankers will be transported on to Taylor where the BNSF will pickup for destinations north.
