I see you’ve eliminated all but one switch back. Good choice, that one switchback is nessesary to add that extra industry, and will make for some added switching interest. Still, glad you got rid of the others.
Also a great plan to sonic and add an industry to Taylor yard, and those holding tracks will still allow you some run through trains.
You could always make expansions to the plan, but what you’ve got will occupy you for some time.
I look forward seeing some progress on this layout, please post pictures of progress here or on other threads!

Back from vacation. Did manage to work on layout design while away. Latest here.
Changes: Scenicked Taylor yard as a holding yard and reduced staging tracks. Eliminated all but one of the switchbacks. La Grange is off layout and destinations beyond.
Will complete 13 ft deck this week

I wouldn't go wild on rebalancing the layout. You could have one yard scenicked as an actual holding yard where the cars are parked before being distributed to the industries, and swapped out. The one short track along the same edge could be your additional narrow industrial track (team?). The other side could remain unscenicked staging thats "off layout". That side could represent the interchange with the mainline.
That extra scenicked turn and yard would give two separate scenes for the layout instead of the just one town scene and make the layout feel bigger. A road or small stream/bridge crossing the curve could further separate the two scenes a bit. JMO.

Actually Maxman brought up the switchbacks, my comment was that Smithville could be made into a more efficient ISL type, possibly elimating the switchbacks, but having less track, and more industires on the staging areas would also add more interest to the operation, even if one of the areas, was left as a staging and an interchange for the incoming and outgoing traffic to and from Smithville.

Mike’s got a great idea, you have a lot of switchbacks to reach industries. This means your adding an operational headache, and using double the switches you need which is quickly going to double the cost of your track. If you like the tail tracks, maybe add industries on them to make better use of them and add to operations. Other wise they seem to me to be a bit of a waste. One or two (EDIT, you only have two, but still, I feel like that is a bit much) such tracks can add a bit to ops but the number you have is soon going to reach annoying!

Since Smithville is the main lay out, a better switching lay out could be designed with out all of the "tail" tracks/ switch backs.
The two yards on each side are removable to get access to the garage for bringing yard equipment in and out, and just serve as staging.
I saw it last night - looks like no continuous running. Back at work and apparently blocked.

I'm all for staging, but I think there may be too much.
What is the plan.
Will a train come from one track, switch out cars, then head to an open staging track? Then a second train comes from a second staging track, switches cars, then heads to another open staging track? Then a third? And a fourth?
Why do you need four separate trains to stop and switch out cars in that small switching district?
Maybe there is a specific prototype that had four trains serving that town you are modeling, but if you're freelancing, I think you could get by with less staging and more railroad. JMO.
Wonder if you have some firewall or AV software that is blocking it because the domain is .co not .com. Might consider it some sort of attempt to fake you out, but it's legit in this case for sure.

If you’re looking for feedback (I’m assuming you are), I’ll give my opinions, though you have the right to not listen.
I think you could gain some more mainline run and maybe even more switching if you make the staging yard a double ended yard and move it to opposite Smithville. A double ended staging yard will make better use of space and allow for continuous run. It will also free space on the two sides of the layout (where the staging yards are right now) for scenery, and maybe a few more industrie if you want.
Just a recomendation, I’m sure there is a reason you have it how you do.

Still no joy, back on a different computer. Where I used to work, certain hosts were blocked so some hosts would work and others not, but here, I didn't think that was the case.

Hmm, works for me, two different computers on two different networks. It appeared at home, and it appears now at work. Shows up in the message and in larger form when clicked. It's just one of IMGBB's URLs, nothing odd.
I'm still not seeing it - two different computers. Just a little box where the photo is apparently supposed to show. If I click on the box there, it says "site cannot be reached."
