I have shared my silo complex in my new modeled industrial area but after putting it together I left it in the plastic colors it came in. Lately I decided the silo's needed to look a little more real, thus change the paint scheme.
This is how they looked right out of the box in the original colors.
Not bad but it had that glossy plastic color. Too shiny for my taste. This morning I found a bottle of aged concrete from Model Master and applied a coat over the original grey color, what a difference. The concrete color just looks better and the silo's really stand out with a more realistic look.
I hope you can see the difference, much better.

Thanks, I filled the crack with white caulking and painted over it, it worked great.
