O Gauge Girder Rail
Posted by Gclarry on Thursday, December 30, 2004 2:13 PM

I am developing my plans for an O-scale Belt RR of Chicago. Is O-scale girder rail available commercially? Does anyone manufacture single point turnouts in O-Scale? Or does anyone know of instructions on how to build single point turnouts?

I appreciate any and all help! Thanks

While not specifically for O scale, perhaps products for other scales could be adopted. I saw a comment on another board about using Orr Girder Rail (the 3rd link) in O scale.

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

I know at least one company did build single-point turnouts for O scale--I have one that I bought (by accident) earlier this year. Let me go dig it out of my parts box and I'll let you know the manufacturer, though my bet is that they have been out of business for a while...
