Can't seem to post photos on my smart phone but you could use wood risers instead.

 

What is the issue you're having?  I used to have problems too until I turned the phone to landscape orientation (turn the phone 90° in my hands) then I could hit the "Ok" button.  The "ok" button is offscreen in portrait orientation.  Hope this solves your issue.

E-L man tomI'm not into the "Tehachapi" thing, but in the most recent issue of Kalmbach's "Build a Small Model Railroad", winter. 2018, page 10, "Santa Fe and Southern Pacific in a Spare Room", there's an N scale layout, (albeit small) that features the Tehachapi Pass. That's an HO scale plan of a freelanced branchline inspired by the general Tehachapi area (also published in the July 2104 MR). It’s a very nicely done layout, but doesn't include The Loop and may not be that useful to the Original Poster. Yes, I stand corrected. That is an HO, not an N scale layout. But, then again, it may be useful to the original poster. Just gives an idea of the general topography, nothing actually specific.

My layout will be mid size, and it will be in Nscale. I  will check out that article and see how it might help in my plans.

I too am planning a new layout (train room almost complete!).

And, even though you may not be planning a small layout, and not in N scale, you may have some idea of what you can incorporate into yours.

Hi All

Im planning my trackplan for my new layout, I will be working on in our new home, the question is part of the plan is on peninsula, and the track just loops around the peninsula,what I would like to have is a Tehaphi type curve, could I use woodland scenic risers and inclines for this construction? ??
