Blueridge Soundstop Fibreboard vs. Homosote
Posted by tietwiddle on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 8:56 PM

Anyone have experience using Blueridge Soundstop Fiberboard  for track roadbed?  I've committed to using it in my staging area, which will be all flex track, but I have some reservations of how it will work with hand-laid track.  So far, I've only installed a couple panels to the plywood substrate and no track.  I've already concluded that it should be glued to the substrate, as screws tend to crush it.  Has anyone else worked with this material, and what are your observations/recommendations?  Thank you!
