looking at the two Merchant Row kits, they seem to fit the same right hand block from the corner. Are these separate buildings that could be arrange in any fashion?

From this thread I gather they are one structure, but lots of options for kitbashing.

One structure, no way to separate.

You could add a DPM "Other Corner Cafe" building to it and... problem solved?

OR a Merchant's Row V ?

Hope that helps,

Terry,
I know what You mean about right/left hand. Three was a left hand, but I see they no longer make that one. Take a look at V(5) that would be a left hand in how we view it....... the product information states that it is a right hand though. I wish that one was out at the tiime I was working on them....could have made a great bash out of that one. A link to the V: And Yes, the buildings are molded into one piece and You can't really switch sides without surgery. Backs are molded into what would look like from a view in an alley or empty lot.
This is the III: It is much wider by 2 1/2 '' but I cut the width of all the ones I have so they would fit in the scene without sacrificing the width of the street.
Take Care!

This one is my favorite, because of the turret corner.
The long front wall is a single piece, with the turret separate. There are no interior walls. However, you could easily use Walthers brick sheet, which is pretty similar, to separate the buildings with a razor knife and make separate buildings from it. As it happened, I built this single structure with its location in mind, so the size and position of each storefront worked perfectly.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
In a lot of small cities they had alleys in the middle of the block. That is what I'm going to do with mine.

Actually there are at least 4 of that series of buildings. MR V has a corner building useful for a drug store or something. Walthers, Heljan and DPM have some nice kits that could be placed at the blunt ends of the other MR kits.

Just be glad you don't have to press "2" for English.
