mbinsewi That's a pretty cool way to handle the end of the divider wall. Is your back drop going to be painted, or a photo-type glued to the drywall? The reason I ask, I've filled many of them, in all different sizes, with concrete, and some have a waxy type finish on the outside to protect them from the weather. Mike.

Here are some more progress phot0s
30 inches is stretching it depending on the height of the layout (and your height), but it is probably doable.
There is accress from each side from the peninsula so reach on one section is a bit long but the vast majority is 30" or less.
If there is access to both sides of the penninsula than reach may not necessarily be an issue.

After 6 years of planning saving, getting basement ready I have made some great progress this winter on the benchwork. Still need to build walls to separate halves of the peninsula but getting there!
