Lion stood on subway platform (top photo) and shot a panarama view of downtown brooklyn. Then him used fancy software to stitch these together and printed them out on a color laser printer, and pasted the panels together.
Him used silicone caulk to apply the backdrop to the backboard.
It does need better lighting since there is another level above the one photographed in the lower level.
The Iconic Kentile sigh was removed about two years ago.

airtrain I would be especially interested in hearing from anybody who mounted them using Velcro as they say can be done. It seems like a much easier process than glue or wallpaper paste, easier to repair mistakes. Thanks for any thoughts you might have.
I just looked at their web site, and watched parts of their installation video, and the only reference to velcro I see, in the FAQ, were they say that some have tried velcro.
I don't get how velcro will work, unless you apply the backdrop to a masonite or drywall panel, and then use the velcro to attach the panel, with the backdrop glued on, to the wall.
I think you would have to have the bench work in place to support the panel, and the velcro only holding it against the wall.
I don't see how else velcro would work.
Interesting to see what you find out.

I haven’t tried Velcro for background images, I just use scotch tape bend over to be two sided. All of my background images are kind of small because I cut out the sky and only use the hills, etc.
My experience with Velcro is that the glue on it is not as sticky as the Velcro itself and you have to sew the Velcro onto something to get it to work properly.
No experience with that vendor, but on my backdrops, I use Scotch double sided tape. Works like a charm.
