For painting a road off of the layout, outside this is quick, simple and looks decent.
Using shaker cans, applied two coats of grey primer and let dry, then a flat black from about three feet overhead with a light mist, another misting of flat grey, then a very light misting of saten ivory.

Nice looking pavement and striping. However probably should have white edge lines 10-12' from centerline to delineate edge of traveled way.
White edge lines became standard at same time as yellow centerlines.
I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

Yes I will put in a white fog line. The hobby shop is out of it. You going to be at the open house in Yuba City on the 23 rd.
Just a reminder that fog lines weren't common until the '60s.
