Walthers car shop rail installation
Posted by wleron on Monday, August 21, 2017 11:51 AM

What is the best way to install atlas flex track inside the car shop with the plastic floor?

Is there any specific tyoe of glue used ? The track will go all the way through and come out the back for a short distance.

Thin superglue.  A micro brush would be the most delicate way to apply it.

I remove the rail from the ties and just glue down the rail in the groove provided.

I use medium super glue for this purpose.

Hi wleron:

CA will work fine for securing the track. So will contact cement.

Is this the kit?:

If so, it looks to me like you will need to remove the ties from the track that goes inside the building. I couldn't find the instructions online.

Dave,

Yes that is the correct car shop. Thanks for the info from all who responded. Looks like removing the ties and super glue is the way to go.

Thanks to all again.

Ron
