Testing the image insertion technique just described by dschmitt. Looks like it works well.
As you can see, I have begun painting the small hopper pieces. First I applied a white primer, then a flat black. The pieces are stuck in craft foam so I don't have to handle them when I paint.
When you make a new post or edit an existing post, there are some options at the top. One of them, a symbol is "insert/edit image". Click on it. A diolag box will open. Paste image address in the box and click OK,
I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.
Going to paint and install all the optional components that came with the Ortner aggregate hoppers. The previous owner didn't bother. Had to cut off the end railings that were glued on so they could be painted more easily.

Thanks Bob I'll try that!
Hi O S M
I'm new to imgbb as well. When you upload a pic the last step is to select an embeded code where it says viewer links. There are 3 image options and the one you will mostly want to use is the medium one. The tag on my post is a thumbnail.
You can google Trains.com Forum Testing and try posting there to see how it works.
Hope this helps.
Bob
Don't Ever Give Up
Tried to use imgbb to post a pic but not doing something right. Will try again later.

At least the link is right.
Now that my wife has retired, beginning to clear out the basement for all of my freelance Walton Rock & Mineral Railroad workspaces (woodworking, painting, chemistry, glass cutting, library, etc) and GypsumWorks Studio (geology). Changed all of the plastic couplers on my hoppers to metal so they can handle the heavy rock and mineral live loads.
