Check your local home improvement warehouse (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.). It usually comes in 4 by 8 foot sheets in varying thicknesses.

Give or take a few dollars depending on your location, a 4 x 8', 1-1/2" thick piece of extrude foam insulation will run you ~$15; a 2" thick piece, $20.
