Incidental to this discussion, but I'll give an endorsement to Rix's concrete block walls. They're to exact scale (except maybe for thickness--which is certainly close if not exact).
I'm building a building out of them, and they are just great. They interlock to make longer walls. You do have to pay attention at the joint.

Thanks, guys. I am getting the sense that Grandt Line and Tichy are the most likely providers of doors and windows for masonry buildings like large freight houses. I may have to modify some of their windows to accomplish my objective. Tough to find exact dimensions even when scratch building.

Hey Bear......thanks for the links......I like them both.
Possible future build fodder.
Take Care!

Gidday Rich, have never seen either of these products so am offering no opinion.

Rich,
Take a look at Rix/Pikestuff doors/windows etc. They don't have a very big selection, but what they have will work for concrete or the newer pre-fab buildings. There are a couple more places, when I get a chance I'll post them.

I am familiar with Grandt Line and Tichy as manufacturers of HO scale masonry windows and overhead doors. Are there others?
I am just looking for scratch building items, not kits like DPM Modulars or Walthers Modulars.
Thanks.
