Sorry Did'nt work. I wonder if i'm the only one that ever had a hard time posting an image. Any advice is appreciated.
There are tips on posting photos HERE, but no matter which of those methods you use, your photos need to be in a photo-hosting site, such as photobucket.

Go to the General Discussion forum. Read the "sticky note" by Steve Otte about posting pictures. Scroll down to see how others do it. Scroll down to a post by gmpullman, I use his method, and it works great.

That looks like the rust protection of good old axle grease.

Looks a lot like a "project car" condition in the auto world. This "project loco" just needs a bit of time, effort and $$. I doubt if the UPS guy can bring some of the needed parts, however.

Robert. Thanks for the blog. I enjoyed looking at it over coffee this morning. I really like your layout design not to mention the fine carpentry on your bench work. The hand painted mural of the trees on the wall looks really cool too and adds a lot of depth. I don't think you'll ever get bored fiddling around in that yard it reminds me of the train yard in St.Paul. Well I'm off to a potluck barbecue Gathering pretty soon. Should be a lot of fun.

WOW they did a good job I watched it come through Shakopee Minnesota in 2008. I don't know how to post a link yet but do yourself a favor and Google this. Posting direct video links in the forum is as easy as copying the URL Youtube link from your information bar, then open your reply window in the MR forum and click on the "film" icon just to the right of the "photo" icon in the MR reply tool bar.
When the "insert media" window opens just paste the URL into the source line. Leave all the others blank. I simply use ctrl+C and ctrl+V for copy/paste.
In your reply it will show up as a gray box but when you post the reply the vide window will be there. MR doesn't allow for full-screen viewing but anyone can click the frame and be taken to YouTube where it can be "blowed-up" to full screen.

I just wanted to say a belated thanks Ed I've been out of town for two weeks fishing in Hayward Wisconsin and didn't see that you responded to my post with the direct link to video directions until a few minutes ago. I made a copy of it so next time I get around to something like that it'll come in really handy thanks again for the help.

Mike thanks. More great pictures to look at. I really appreciate looking at your work. I was enthralled with your waterfalls picture I wouldn't have a clue how to do that but I'd like to learn. And I really like the background pictures of the great lakes or ocean where there's no Shore line on the other side not something you see often on a model Railroad backdrop. Well I could tell fishing stories but the fishing wasn't very good the water's still too cold yet. We kind of gave up on the walleye and through some suicks for some Northerns didn't get any really big ones but got a few decent size ones and did my mother's recipe of baked Poor Man's Lobster with them. God Rest her soul I miss her. The place we stayed at was my wife's mom and we did a lot lot of work for her on her property for Mother's Day. It made her happy and that's what it's all about. Thanks again for sharing take care.

Yup Your right! I never ment for picture posting thread to hang around this long. You revived it last though. The thread turned into some sort of thankyou thankyou Babe Winkelman fishing show sort of thing. lol Well at least I learned the picture posting thing with everyones help. So let this fall off the page and put this post to rest.
