Anyoone have a good source for either Industrial bhuilding fronts like a Freight terminal or maybe backdrop photos?
I've looked at walthers and woodland scenic but there is not much of a selection.

scroll down toward the bottom of like ATSF or NYC and look at other photos takes a while but thery are there for most railroads. or are you looking for photo's to use as backdrop's ?

You could also build your own back drop building front. Look at photos of different places you have in mind, use them to create your own building fronts.

I had a similar "frustration" to you so I went to Google Earth Street View and took screen dumps of buildings in a couple of streets of a place I explored 40 (...but I hate to admit that) years ago.
I actually surprised myself how far I would have walked in that days freezing temperatures being only 5 days out of an Aussie summer. The technique is simple enough as long as you have MS "paint" or Linux "Kolorpaint" which is what I use.
While I have not done it yet. I intend to make a collage of the buildings as a backdrop on a very shallow area.
A contributor to this forum (Tomkat?) used to put up a variety of shop fronts etc but I think it may have been taken down with copyright issues? Maybe some one here knows of those or I can forward some of those I have by private PM or post some!

Do You have a color printer? You can with some experience, scan some photos of buildings and scenes that You would like as a backdrop and enlarge them on the printer, but you are limited to the size of the paper that the printer can handle. If You are really good, You can scan a large area and piece it together. I'll insert a couple pic's that I found on Google, scanned them, enlarged them on the printer and used as a backdrop on My display/model drying shelf at My workbench, just to see how it would look. You do lose some clarity when blown up, but from far, does not look too bad, the scale is very close also. It was just an experiment, but something to think about.
