In a pinch you can use the plastic in blister packs, you know a package that is backed by cardboard and has a clear plastic "bubble" that holds whatever is being sold in that package. I use the Testors version of Canopy glue. It wicks in under the edge of the window.
It takes a while to dry. Don't know how that compares with Canopy Glue, but it doesn't craze.

If the kit has the thick window material, it is ok if the interior is not going to be lighted or detailed. If it is, then the .005 clear styrene would be more suitable. In addition, Canopy Glue has worked the best for me in attaching "glass" to windows. Great initial tack, dries really clear, and doesn't craze the window material.
I'm in the process of building the Walthers REA Express transfer building. I'm at the point of glueing the windows. Which option is better, use the plastic clear windows that come with the kit or cut up clear plastic Evergreen sheets for the windows? Thank you in advance.
