trainnut1250Mike - Excellent model.
Thanks, Guy.
It was a project, but in the end an enjoyable build as I recall. If I had it to do over, it would be better lit. I built it right as I started adding lots of structure lighting, but the coaling tower has only some light poles I added later to illuminate it.

Harold,
Maybe the height of the chute? The rest was pretty much per the kit plan. It's been a few years, so my recall of variations is hazy at best. WYSIWYG in the pics is about all I know at this point...
Mike - Excellent model.
The Chama coaling structure has become one of the most modeled structures in Narrow gauge (I can think of at least four examples on local layouts within a 50 mile radius).
If you search chama coaling tower plans in google images you will be richly rewarded. There were plans published in the gazette a number of years ago. There are also several sites selling plans for the structure

Cool structure, if I wasn't west coast it would be on my layout

Nice job Mike. It looks like you revised the height from the original?
Harold
The main bin is about 22' wide by 18' deep (front to back).
Pics, but note that this sturcture is deep in the middle of the widest part of the layout, so I didn't sweat the details too much due to the viewing distance.
I want to Scratch build the Coaling Tower at Chama N.M. I have the dimensions for the height but can not find the dimension for the width or the depth.
If you have happened to build it from the Cambell kit you can use that to get the dimensions. If you find a website that show dimensions that would also work. I also need a closeup the CHUTE assembly.
Thanks in advance for your help.
