Please identify what DCC system and brand of auto-reverser you have.

Welcome aboard!  Welcome

There is a pinned topic at the top of the "General Discussion" forum on posting photos.

I assume you're using DCC, right?  DCC reversers will not work with DC.

Do you have multiple reversing segments?  You can sometimes get away with using a single reverser for more than one reverse loop, but in general you're going to be better off with one reverser for each loop.  This avoids conflicts where the reverser can't resolve the polarity issues of two crossings happening at the same time.

Reverse loop-problems
Posted by Mag9 on Saturday, November 5, 2016 7:45 AM

Hello all,

I am building a new layout 4X8 and having significant problems with reverse loops. I have a single reverser that seems to work for most segments but I can't get through the gaps on the left (see photo) The engine stops and shuts off. Can anybody help?

This is my first time here and don't know how to insert a photo...need help with that too :-(
