Thanks for the replies.

Was able to get a copy of the cat mountain and PDF template. Also found a digital copy on a thumbdrive. After 32 years of military service I surprised myself of what I  have and where it is.

At least I think that's what you're asking.

Likely not. What the Original Poster eventually revealed (in another thread) was that he was looking for a specific track plan from Model Railroad Planning 1996. See a post a few above yours. He hasn't been back for a while, so he may not be reading this thread since it was resurrected.

The problem with PDFs is that the scale of the drawing (template) is rarely if ever listed.

If the template file allows you to bring it in to scale, then great.

But, based on information given, I would suggest printing it out 1:1 and verifying the scale with a ruler, preferably an Architects scale.

At least I think that's what you're asking.

Less is more,...more or less!

If he wants to model his bedroom, he could try Sweet Home 3D, which is a free for the download program avail for Windows, Mac & Linux. I did that with my apartment. It did take a while via computer.Hmm

I commented in the other thread as well, but in one of the early MRP, Tony Koester created a "standard" bedroom with doors, closet, and windows to challenge several well known modelers to redesign their layouts   I think it's been used in several MR track plans over the years.

It's a pdf layout planning tool . For I think for standard  bedroom.

Is there such thing as a "standard" bedroom?  I have lived in a lot of different houses etc. over the years and room sized often varied.  Best thing to do is to measure the layout room and draw the boundaries in on a graph paper with a grid where one square = 1 sq ft. or electronic equivelent.

Given what the original poster said in his other thread ...

in the 1996 Model Railroad planner a 11X11 plan for CAT Mountain and SF was published I have seen several digital photos of this track plan.  Does any one have a copy of the track plan.  I have searched the track plan data base and I can find a copy.

... it seems that he may actually be looking for a particular plan from the 1996 Model Railroad Planning magazine. Back issues or photocopies may be available from Kalmbach customer service. Copies of the magazine are also currently for sale on eBay.

LION might be old fashioned, but...

Him would get some paper, a T square, some triangles and do it by hand. Much faster than a computer. Especially if you have to ask what you are doing.

I never ask myself, but there is always this little guy over my shoulder asking me if I know what I'm doing.

Anybody that says that is Lion. Smile

That's only true if you you just draw it once - maybe not even then.  And if you have the skill to draw it perfectly the first time, you don't need to draw it at all.

XtrackCAD and I will race you and your T-square any time.  Requirements are that you draw to scale, use the actual footprint of the track components you're using, keep track of grades, allow for easements on the curves, produce a parts list and a full size template to use during track laying.

I have the right to remain silent.  By posting here I have given up that right and accept that anything I say can and will be used as evidence to critique me.

Good day I am looking for a copy of pdf template for bedroom  layout

Does that mean you are looking for a trackplan for a 11 x 11 bedroom layout in PDF format?

If so, check the MRR trackplan database if you are a magazine subscriber.

You might also mention what scale you plan to build in.

I think you might have to go into more detail.  I don't understand.  Perhaps others do.
