Was able to get two copies of the issue.. Now I am using it with Clark fork layout..to make one layout...

I don't know which the OP is referring to, but there was another article about the same time as the South Plains where he extended the concept into an around the room layout for a small bedroom.  It was in a challenge issue were Tony Koester challenged several well known modelers to redesign their famous layouts into a bedroom.

Good day,

in the 1996 Model Railroad planner a 11X11 plan for CAT Mountain and SF was published I have seen several digital photos of this track plan.  Does any one have a copy of the track plan.  I have searched the track plan data base and I can find a copy.
