What's this???
A whole new thread for the signs we love?
There's a server somewhere breathing a sigh of relief!
I have a few to contribute when I get more kerosene for my scanner, it's a really old one.
Thanks, Tomkat!
Regards, Ed
So, there's a limit on the number of thread posts on this forum? So be it.
No.......I just wanted to start a secound thread as the other was very long!
What is the best way to make use of these; do it yourself decals?
And thanks for posting them.

What I do is print on card stock, trim out, color the edges with a sharpie to take the white away. For a metal sign I have used glossy photo paper. You could also do them as decals.

Here is a group of safety posters I have in my collection. They are from 1957 and 1958 and would look great around your steel mill or you can crop off the text and just use the graphic for a sign or billboard around any factory.
Each one is a separate file so you can pick the ones you want.
More to follow...
Have Fun! Ed
Nice one's Ed. These would look great as safety billboards at any factory or plant.

Glad I could contribute, Tomkat.
Here are some early "Operation Lifesaver" Posters. If anyone would like a higher resolution poster of any of these below, let me know and I can post one.
Do you know where I can get some lumber ones by chance along with a few whisky (american and or irish) Thanks.
Sean, the unknown train travler,
"Tomkat, is this grain elevator a modular scene meant for your layout? If so, you'll need to reconsider your limit on post-1969 signs, as Evergreen Marine was founded in Sept 1968, and so that rather rusted 20ft Evergreen green container in the foreground would be unlikely to have been repurposed until, say the mid-1970s at the earliest (not sure when dockside container mountains at US ports began to form in earnest).
An old late 50s truck "van" body, OTOH, would likely fit in well..."
Thank you for the info. This model was built for a future module I am planning to use with our club layout.
Hi tomkat-13
Thanks again for all these terrific ads and signs.
Quick request..... do you have any speed equpment and dragster signs? Would be great as I am in the middle of building a speed shop on my HO layout with hot rods and dragsters.
Your posts are much appreciated!

Fantastic. Thanks tomkat-13.
I remember most of these from back in the day. These are great for my HO speed shop.
Thanks again!
