Ooooooooooooooooooo.
Grew up in Norristown (Trooper really), went to Drexel U., commuted on the Paoli line, the Norristown line, the Pig and Whistle and the GE Local. Rode MP54's, Blue cars, Green cars, Pioneers, Silverliner III and IV, Jersey Errors, RDC's, Wall Streets, Push Pulls and Bullet cars. Them were the days.

It's mostly just a simple loop with a passing siding which makes up the double-track station. There are a couple of lines which connect to the surface, a single stub siding to another station, and a pair of staging/storage tracks.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
I was also born at Hahnemann LOL .. and raised in Germantown/Mt airy so how far have you gottten with the Doylestown branch ? Are you really going all the way to the terminal. I model the RDG as well as the PRR.. I have a section of the RDG on My layout in North Philly complete with catenary. See Pict

I also have broad street station
and 3Oth street.
If i get more space I would like to build Reading terminal. Im going to start making 3d printed catenary poles for the Reading. I currenty have a large selection of 3d cat PRR cat Poles for sale on Shapeways www.shapeways.com/shops/designdyne
Love it!!! Born at Hahnemann and raised in New Britain, Doylestown Branch of the RDG. Showed the photos to my Floridian wife and Temple Master of Arts grad. See my signature.
I've got a loop of subway trains just below the main level of my layout.
Yes, there's sound.
I've got a couple of trolleys, too, but I don't have such an urban layout and I just run them on the surface tracks with the rest of the trains. My only street-running tracks are down by the waterfront at the car float terminal, but those don't serve trolleys. I used Proto 87's "Electric Avenue" track for that.
Oh, and welcome aboard! That's some fine urban modeling.
Look out for the LION - Broadway Lion that. He runs the only subway (layout) in North Dakota.
Here is a link to his home page
Im working on a New trolley and Subway layout in Ho scale which has a street level a subway trolley level and subway train level. Its a cross section of the downtown area modeled after Philadelphia
