This layout appeared in "Track Planning for Realistic Operation" over 20 years ago. I have never heard of anyone building it. I agree it looks like a neat layout on paper.
Enjoy

One of John Armstrong's designs is the Skuylkill Division. It was designed to be a PRR passenger layout in 26' by 27'. I have the space and really like the layout on paper. But before I start cutting wood, I would really like to know if the person for whom John designed this layout ever built it? Of course my real hope is it did get built and I can see it operate. Any body know who John designed this layout for and how I could contact them?
