ho scale combined with o scale question.

Since I have ho & o scale trains I have been thinking about combining the two together, one above the other on a shelf type layout. Will the ho above the o scale take away from the o scale & vice versa?

I do HO over On30.  Still very much a work in progess in these pictures.  I don't feel it detracts at all, but thats just my opinion.

Eventually they will both be around the walls as a continuous run with a swing gate accross the door on each level.  The HO layer is up and operational and ready for scenery.  The On30 level started life as a 12 foot module and that is all I have completed right now.  I have 90% of what I need to complete the HO level.  I work on the On30 level as finances allow.

This is the HO layer
