OK, hadn't seen the boxes from the new mfg of these kits. The generic look I guess? I'm with you, though, if I ever assemble any more of them with the metal siding it'll be all about epoxy for me. I still remember what a bear the Black Bart mine was to solder -- when I had only the barest of clues on how to do that correctly.

It was a newer California Model Co kit. I used gap filling gel Super glue to assemble it.

An old Suydam kit, but I wonder why the generic label? or maybe they didn't put their name on early labels???
