This is the one designed to take a tablet as the screen, isn't it? I would pick up the cheapest Android tablet you can find, they won;t be very fast and they won't have much memory but how much do you need for it to loop a movie or two?

We have one of the old ones that came with a small LCD screen (at a ridiculous price) on the club layout, complete with a mobile home park across the street with a guy cutting off the top of one of the pine trees screening the drive-in. That one hooks up to a DVD player, and it's a huge hit with visitors, we usually have it playing cartoons or 3 Stooges.

You could also make the "drive in" off-layout, just have one or two rows of car on gravel humps and the screen.

Same as Joe, I don't have the space to devote to a drive-in but... IF I were going to put an LCD screen in I would look for one of the inexpensive screens on ebay sold as automobile back-up video screens. I bought a 4" diagonal color LCD for about $30 and I use it to aim and focus the security cameras I use around the house and layout. It is much easier to make those adjustments right at the camera then I just unplug the 4" screen and reconnect the CATV cable.

Just for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-TFT-LCD-Digital-Color-Screen-Car-Monitor-for-Backup-Rear-View-Camera-DC-12V-/351142789230?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51c1bdc06e

You can feed any video source to it and you don't have to tie up your expensive 'puter to show a movie!!!

Have Fun, Ed

I would like to do that but a drive in occupies too much real estate just as in real life.
