A nice piece of work, Mark.

Some of us are old enough to remember when there was a TV show called "Casey Jones" -- on TV he never died or had a wreck but he did run a steam locomotive (the same Sierra 4-6-0 later used in Petticoat Jct as I recall).

In the famous song about Casey Jones there is a verse that I have always found troubling. I am relying on my memory here but it is something like.
Mrs Casey Jones told her children to stop their crying "because you got another Papa on the Salt Lake Line"
Seems like rather a mean spirited thing to say (or sing) about a widow.

Sim web is not in the diorama. He would have had to jump off the train before it crashed. But I guess I could have had him walking down the road....Hmmmmm.

As for the song I read that widow Casey Jones said that she never wanted anyone to sing that line of the song in her presence.

Hmmmm upon checking various references I have to note that Casey was wearing a red shirt on the eventful day . . . . . . Just kidding. Way cool. I think you did a great job in doing up a diorama that depicts a famous event.
