Those are nice examples, Peter.
And you will save a ton of money if you can build your own.
Flipped open the Walthers catalog and found a relatively new vendor, Viessmann, with lots of choices in lighting the OP may find useful.

You're in for a good time!
Walthers lists a lot of HO mast lighting, like NJ International, Busch, etc., but not for the faint of wallet.
My layout is HO. At a train show I picked up some what I presume are Lifelike N scale dual highway lights and extended the mast with some brass tubing. Also modified an HO telephone pole and used a pre-wired SMD LED for a laydown yard light, found the fixture shades at the train show too.
Have fun and good luck, regards, Peter
first time post, and just recently started my model railroading "career"
Does anyone know of a company that sell HO scale High Mast Lighting preferably functional. Some thing that may be found in a very large parking lot, along a major freeway interchange or in my case an intermodal container lot.
thanks in advance
